Coffee Break

International Women’s Bible Studies (with Child Care when meeting in-person)

Women welcome throughout the year

What Can I Expect?

  • Small, informal groups with leaders who plan each meeting
  • In-depth Bible study
  • Making new friends
  • Taking part as you feel comfortable
  • Sharing of new insights from the Bible… (Bible knowledge is not required)
  • A happy, safe place for your young child while you study (during non-pandemic times)
  • Coffee and tea

In our Bible study, we focus on learning from Bible texts to discover significant meaning for our lives. These interdenominational classes are offered for Bible learners (Bible knowledge is not required) and mature Christians.
International women find Coffee Break a friendly, safe place to learn and to practice their English. Bible classes are offered in easy or advanced English for ESL learners or native speakers.

When and Where Does Coffee Break Meet?

Typically, during non-pandemic times, Coffee Break meets throughout the school year on most Tuesdays. There are two sessions to choose from:

  • 10:00 – 11:15 am – the morning session
  • 1:15 – 2:45 pm – the afternoon session

Both the morning and afternoon sessions offer multiple small group Bible study choices for you.
Childcare for children 2-years-old and younger is available during both the morning and afternoon sessions.

During the pandemic, we are not meeting in-person, but instead meeting virtually.  Contact coffeebreak@aacrc.org for details.

What Childcare is Provided?

Childcare for children 2-years-old and younger is available during both the morning and afternoon sessions.

What is the cost?

There is a one-time $25 registration fee, payable by cash or check (made out to “AACRC” with “Coffee Break” in the memo line). This money will be used to partially cover supply costs.

Women welcome throughout the year
You may join Coffee Break at any time, but you will gain the most by starting in September and coming regularly.
Early registration is strongly encouraged, especially for those with children, so that we can make arrangements for them. There is always room for women who do not bring children.

I have a question. Who can I talk to?
