Opportunities for Congregational Outreach/Missions
West Indies Self Help
On January 28, 2008 Tom & Claudia Larson and Bill & Marilyn Dahms traveled to Haiti to spend a week volunteering for West Indies Self Help (WISH) on the island of LaGonave. This mission offers a number of economic development, food aid and housing programs on the island. Marilyn offered dental care and was assisted in the dental clinic by Bill and Claudia. Tom worked on a number of maintenance projects at the clinic and elsewhere at the mission.
Ghana School Project
Members of our church contributed the funds to build a three-room school in Ghana for 100 kindergarten and first grade students. This school was built in 2007 and began to offer classes in summer.
