The Degener’s are campus missionaries with China Outreach Ministries, a national mission agency focusing exclusively on China’s scholars in the US and they focus on the students who are at the University of Michigan. UM has more graduate students from China than any other school in the US. COM holds outreach meetings on Saturday nights at AACRC for visiting scholars and Chinese Christian grad students. They also meet at other times with scholars at the church or on campus for individual/group Bible study and share with them the message of Christ. In addition, they assist students with countless details related to living and going to school in a different country.
