The Degener’s are campus missionaries with China Outreach Ministries (COM), a national mission agency focusing exclusively on China’s scholars in the US and they focus on the students who are at the University of Michigan. UM has more graduate students from China than any other school in the US. Friday nights in the annex area of AACRC, COM holds an outreach meeting for visiting scholars and a Christian fellowship for Chinese Christian grad students. They also meet at other times with scholars at the church or on campus for individual/group Bible study and share with them the message of Christ.
