“At Solomon’s Porch we redefine the meaning of ‘Church’ in a way that resembles the way Jesus did things. We think of the inescapable last words of Jesus to his followers: ‘Go and do as I have shown you.’ Those words were not just for the early followers, but for all of us. So, in the summer of 2005, a handful of people took this call seriously and passionately live them out with each person we encounter in life, not as a program, but as an everyday lifestyle. We are on an exciting journey that has led us to simplify church to its relational essence: our connection with God, our connections with each other, and our connections with the world. These relationships are the essence of our understanding of ‘church’ and how we are to live. It’s an exciting, life-giving way to live. None of us would exchange it for any other approach to life.”
