Grace Adventures Retreat
In January the middle school students attended Grace Adventures in Mears, MI for their winter retreat.
The theme this year at the middle school retreat was “Puzzled?” take from Romans 12:3-5. Speaker Matt Nash’s message focused on how we are all broken people that God loves dearly and “runs after”, just as the father of the prodigal son ran after his son. Matt challenged the students and leaders to “not just sit around”, but to get active and committed in our relationship with God and sharing his love with those around us.
Activities at the middle school retreat included broom ball, dodge ball, a tubing hill, rocking to the band Echo After, and a Puzzle Blitz competition. The group also experienced great fellowship with one another as a large group, meaningful small group times, and some quality naptime on the drive home.
