Thank you for filling up the Peter Fish Banks. With your support we’ve had a successful World Hunger campaign. This support will go towards CRWRC’s ministry to people around the world. Thank you for “giving up” together on behalf of poor and hungry people around the world.
Many of us feel overwhelmed and defeated when we look at the hunger and poverty in the world. We may be tempted to just “give up”. The 2008 World Hunger Campaign of the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee is a positive twist on “giving up”. It is a challenge to give up – but in a great way.

- More than 854 million people across the world are hungry
- More than 1 billion people worldwide live below the international poverty line
- More than 26,000 children under age 5 die each day from hunger and poverty-related causes
- 33.2 million people are living with HIV and AIDS
