Ellis & Martha Deibler
Waxhaw, NC

Although retired from Wycliffe, Ellis continues to work as a consultant in translation, having spent considerable time during the past few years in Papua New Guinea, India, Korea, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, and Guatemala. He has completed two versions of a new translation of the New Testament from Greek into English. The primary goal is for use by mother-tongue translators around the world – either as is, or after it is translated into other languages of wider communication. Martha has been in charge of the translation of the New Testament into three dialects of one language in Guatemala. Ellis has been supported by AACRC for since 1967.
